You don't wanna work? I do!
"I dont wanna go to work."
Probably one of the most-uttered phrases.... People say it countless times, everyday. It's easy to get into that cycle where there are other things you need to do, or, more likely, other things you want to do.
I would give ANYTHING to go to work right about now.
(especially doing this!)
Even though it is nice to be able to cook and work out and relax, and not be running from place-to-place, I know it will get old very fast. It always does.. And I like running around from place-to-place, and being busy, and feeling like I have a purpose in life. Even if that purpose seems trivial. I have always loved to work and have said countless times that I never want to stop working (you know, until Im 80 and no longer can), even if that is just volunteering (after retirement) or just part-time when (and if) I have and raise my hypothetical children.
I used to take my job for granted and say the very same thing on certain days when I felt run-down or less than cheerful: "ugh, I dont feel like going to work...," and maybe that's another lesson I was meant to learn from this whole "experience." Don't take things for granted; you never know when it will end. Make the best of everyday and every situation; it won't last forever.
I WANT to work and even if there are days that might seem taxing or less than desirable, it's better than the alternative!
That's an interesting point. I've found myself saying that sometimes, but when I think about what you posted, it is pretty much true. The grass will seem greener on the other side, sometimes, but it's ALL about perspective.
