I can bake a pie but cant hard boil an egg.
Im the worst at hard-boiling eggs. I dont even know why.
I can bake a pie, I can cook a full dinner, but not hard-boil eggs?!
Its one of the easiest things to do but yet, every time I try, they dont come out the way they're supposed to.
Well, I am trying again right now using these step-by-step directions. I have 6 minutes left on the timer until its time to drain and cool them.

I do something similar. Cover the eggs in an inch of cold water, bring to a boil, put a lid on it, take off the heat, 12 minutes, cold bath. Voila!
