April Fools!

omygoodness, I LOVE April Fools!

That may not be all that surprising since love surprises (especially planning them!), or possibly really surprising because I am extremely gullible and fall for jokes every. single. time.

but there is really nothing better than a good (clean and harmless) prank!

1000 Awesome Things got me this morning when they abruptly announced the end of the site with only 800 awesome things. uhhh... whuuuuut?!

It took me a second, but I put two and two together (errr... nothing gets past me!)

....you really can't believe anything today!

(duh, that's the fun part)

(hopefully my friend's announcement of her engagement is not a joke... but anything's possible!)

And it's even better when businesses take part in them as well, showing they have a good sense of humor about themselves and their customers. Some of the best ones this year have been Starbucks' mobile pour app and the Whole Foods site in general.
